This starter will fit a variety of Kawasaki engines including mine. My original starter needed a magnet, but I figured it would be quicker to buy this aftermarket starter. Not correct. The new solenoid was bad from the start. Sent the starter back and bought a Stens magnet. Too bad. Sent back and ordered 3 more hoping for good luck. 2 went open and all 3 are bad. China must have shipped a huge amount of bad solenoids because I got 5 out of 5. Dyno testing applied 12V+ to connect the chassis power to the top bar and NOTHING. Plugged it back in and the solenoid worked. The local dealer had an OEM part for $203 + tax. After wasting a week and a half, I'm back in business.
