Review on 🔧 WORX WX176L 9 Switchdriver Cordless Electronic: Enhanced Versatility for Effortless Drilling and Driving by Sean Maile

Very well built and I love the concept of two drills in one. Makes it easier to drill a pilot hole and then screw in a screw without changing bits. Great concept. WORX still seems to make very good and reliable products. I think an improvement would be if they also included a hammer drill setting. I sometimes need it for some jobs. So I have to get another drill press to do these jobs. In addition, I strongly recommend users to buy a fast charger as well as 20V 4.0Ah rechargeable batteries. Anything smaller won't be a great experience on a long (all day) project as the charge won't last long on their smaller, lower amp batteries. Not a fan of their 20V 1.5Ah and 2.0Ah batteries and their smaller standard charger which takes around 5 hours to charge one battery. The quick charger charges the batteries in about an hour, which is much better when you're in a hurry to get the job done. I have noticed that regardless of the setting I would put on the dial (torque setting) it still loosens screws or twists them in wood etc. I then contacted WORX and as it was still within the 3 year warranty , they immediately exchanged one and now the new one works perfectly. The torque dial works as it should and if I now turn it down to the lowest settings the drill will stop as soon as it encounters resistance. Great company, no hassles!
