The strap on my Casio F-201WA broke and strangely Casio doesn't offer many replacement straps. I was annoyed that I had to spend more on a bracelet than all the watches, but I refuse to buy a brand new one and throw away a flawless watch. This economic model is certainly a viable system that will not destroy anything. Definitive. So I wanted a silicone strap as I thought it would be more comfortable than a standard plastic strap and this thing is fantastic. I hardly notice while the plastic felt sticky in wet weather. Also, I often get my wrists wet and the silicone can be wiped dry without having to wait for a nylon or leather strap to dry and get that weird musty smell after a while. The matte texture of the silicone makes it easy to catch the occasional fur or lint, but it's also easy to brush away with your thumb. The strap closure mechanism is great, just pull a tiny bead to retract the spring bar and it locks into place. I also appreciate the double rings to keep the end of the strap from dangling and falling out. I cut off the last inch or so since the strap size is very large. Bonus points for placing the brand logo inside. I really don't like the visible branding so it's a small but nice touch. After all, the money I spent on this band doesn't bother me. Perfect. If I ever replace my Casio, the original strap immediately detaches and is replaced with a GadgetWraps strap.
