I've worn down my old waffle maker and was amazed at the versatility of this machine. While non-stick surfaces are easy to clean, bake times are incredibly slow and cooking is uneven (one side turns very brown and the other side barely golden). I chose a waffle maker that can make four waffles because I want to make enough for the whole family to eat at the same time; but by the time the second four are done, the first batch will be cold. This is on a high machine setting and if you try to rush the waffles will separate in the middle and the waffles will separate on both racks. It hurts to get out. The body of the car is also quite bulky. This waffle maker is the reason I'm buying a new waffle maker.
