Waffle Maker/Multi-Baker

This kitchen gadget is one of the best kitchen purchases I have ever made! It works great as a grill or waffle iron. Easy cleaning is what I was looking for when looking for a new waffle maker and this product delivers. The heavy plates snap in and out easily and are easy to clean in the sink or dishwasher. The fact that this is a heavy duty product for professional use is a bonus.

A waffle maker that can't make waffles

This is a really lousy product - it doesn't seem to get hot enough to make waffles, the non-stick plates aren't really non-stick, the loop that connects the two sides together deforms with use so they tighten do not fit properly, but are interchangeable. The plates weren't very tight. We got it for a wedding over 2 years ago otherwise I would have thrown it away. I used it today to make sandwiches and was so pissed I went to Revain just to write this review. Did I mention it's also difficult to

Makes great waffles the best waffle maker

Before writing my review let me say that I purchased my VillaWare and Multi Baker Belgian waffles from Goodwill. For 8 dollars. I would never spend $50 or more (I've seen it for $100) on an appliance in the kitchen. The multi-bakery part of the device is a gadget part to me. The waffle iron is great. Keep in mind that the waffle maker will take some time to cook, especially if you want a crispy crust on the outside and a bready flavor on the inside. With a little patience, you can make great…

Big Disappointment

I've worn down my old waffle maker and was amazed at the versatility of this machine. While non-stick surfaces are easy to clean, bake times are incredibly slow and cooking is uneven (one side turns very brown and the other side barely golden). I chose a waffle maker that can make four waffles because I want to make enough for the whole family to eat at the same time; but by the time the second four are done, the first batch will be cold. This is on a high machine setting and if you try to rush

bad design and poor product support. not worth the money

I've had this unit for a few years now. So far I've only used it once for grilling. The meat juice didn't drain well and it ran everywhere. I've made waffles with this 4 times and each time it was difficult to remove the waffles even though I used nonstick spray on the nonstick grid. I have followed recommended handling and cleaning instructions, trying not to damage the finish. The last time I used it, I noticed that a lot of non-stick particles got into the waffles. I had to throw them away…

I finally threw mine in the trash where it belongs!

I've had this supposed waffle iron for a few years now. About once a year I break it up to make waffles. The one I have heats up well, but the non-stick surface is terrible. I have tried spraying a vegetable based coating and even cleaning the burners with vegetable oil but nothing helps. I've tried different types of waffle batter and still nothing works. When I'm frustrated and cleaning my waffle maker, I usually put it off until next year. But no more than that, in the trash can. It might be

multipurpose. on waffle iron

I've had no trouble sticking waffles on. I'm not sure if the other reviewers followed the instructions. But if you oil the surface before you put the batter in and let it cook well, the waffles won't stick. I used canola oil and let it do its job. After 3 minutes I tried to open the iron. Faced with resistance, I allowed him to prepare longer. After about 5 minutes the waffle iron opened without resistance or sticking. I used the recipe in the booklet. Next time I'll add a little more vanilla…
