This kitchen gadget is one of the best kitchen purchases I have ever made! It works great as a grill or waffle iron. Easy cleaning is what I was looking for when looking for a new waffle maker and this product delivers. The heavy plates snap in and out easily and are easy to clean in the sink or dishwasher. The fact that this is a heavy duty product for professional use is a bonus.

This is a really lousy product - it doesn't seem to get hot enough to make waffles, the non-stick plates aren't really non-stick, the loop that connects the two sides together deforms with use so they tighten do not fit properly, but are interchangeable. I've worn down my old waffle maker and was amazed at the versatility of this machine. While non-stick surfaces are easy to clean, bake times are incredibly slow and cooking is uneven (one side turns very brown and the other side barely golden). But if you oil the surface before you put the batter in and let it cook well, the waffles won't stick. I used canola oil and let it do its job. After 3 minutes I tried to open the iron.
