Are you sure you sent in the right product?
I bought 0.1 M NaOH for pH adjustment. 1) However, the pH of this product was 2.5! My pH meter worked correctly as it was calibrated at pH 4.01, 6.86 and pH 9.18. I also tested the PBS buffer and this buffer showed a pH of 7.34 on my pH meter. Please check your product. Tomorrow I will post information about the lot here. 2) The black cover was fragile. I was just trying to make sure it was sealed properly and then it ripped.
