The first adapter I bought didn't work after 2 minutes of use so of course I was a bit frustrated. However, Cable Matters contacted me and sent me a replacement and it works great. No problem, sharper image than a non-powered cable and much better than a Chromecast (no lag, clear image). I'm using mine for an old phone that works like a retro gaming device and I'm impressed with the picture quality and response time. The sound is also a 5 from me. Thanks to Cable Matters, after trying 5 different adapters, yours was the best and cheapest. In general a good product.
