Review on Canon EOS Mirrorless Camera Body Camera & Photo by Adhira Nair ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

Replaced Canon EOS 7D. Tired of carrying heavy things. The carcass is small, even in my medium-sized hand it seems like a toy. I got used to it in a month. The first time was very unusual. It is impossible to control from a computer, however, control from a smartphone via Wi-fi is more convenient, not tied by wires. You can even take pictures from another room. But, if there is no Wi-fi, then trouble. There are pluses and minuses. I could take it to the store, but I didn't. Basically, I like it. With adapter, works with extension rings and EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens.

Pros
  • The camera is light, complete with Canon EF 24-105 mm F / 4.0 L IS II USM weighs almost the same as the carcass of the "seven". It is convenient to carry with you. I did not dare to take a regular lens. The electronic viewfinder is convenient, but somewhat slow compared to a DSLR. Until it turns on. It conveniently shows that it will not be possible to aim, for example, you are closer than the lens can shoot. At first I didn’t understand what the red frame with an exclamation mark was. Bright and sharp viewfinder image. A movable screen is my old dream. The mode dial lock is also a necessary thing for me. This is not Canon's first camera. When being transported, accidentally touched, taken out of a bag, etc. the disk often turned, and sometimes led to unpleasant moments, when in a hurry, instead of manual shutter speed, it was not clear what came out. It shoots well in low light - I often have to shoot animals in places where the flash cannot be used. LED flashlight improves photo quality. I tested shooting in low light at the Moskvarium. Worked at maximum sensitivity. Grain, of course, is. But for printing it is quite suitable.
Cons
  • A serious drawback is that legal Photoshop CS6 and ACDsee FM 12 do not see “raves”. Very annoying! If anyone thinks that you need to buy new versions of programs, donate them to me. ))) You have to shoot with duplication in JPG. And RAW - to convert in the Canon program. From it you can transfer the file (one by one) to Photoshop, but this is inconvenient and quite long, more than a minute per frame. After editing, the file is thrown by default into some "left" folder created in "users". You have to use "save as". Low battery capacity, especially in winter. Enough for an hour walk. Indoors, the regular battery does not last much longer. It takes a long time to charge, several hours. I had to buy batteries, Chinese charging and a network adapter. When working with "left" powerful batteries, the battery discharge indicator disappears. Appears only at the last moment, when the battery is already dead. Somewhat unnerving. However, battery manufacturers honestly wrote about this. I found it later when I was torn to go to the service. When shooting frame-by-frame, it shows the picture for a long time (disabled in the settings), and you can take a second frame only after a few seconds. When shooting continuously, everything is fine. With the "seven" I calmly walked in the snow and not very heavy rain, with the new camera it was scary. Bought a coat.
