Review on LilyDeal Polar Express Sleigh Bell by Kenneth Rich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's still ringing for me!

Every year during the holiday season we watch the Polar Express movie and read a book and this year my 5 year old said 'I wonder if Santa really has a reindeer bell for some kids left behind, or is that just a pretense for the film? So I knew I had to find the perfect bell for him this year. There are many sleigh bells, but this one seemed the most beautiful to me. It was expensive so I hesitated and ended up ordering another bell which was about $18 cheaper. It didn't have a gift box, and the bell itself was, I suppose, decent for its price, but it wasn't the kind of big, sturdy bell you'd expect from Santa's sleigh. I returned it and returned to the drafting table. I know this bell is not a cheap gift. But I figured that while toys and games are great fun, most of them will be forgotten within a year or two. This is a wonderful keepsake, a sweet message that my son will keep for the rest of his life to happily present each Christmas. So I decided to take a chance and spend money here after being disappointed with the cheaper bell I bought. I have no regrets and I know my son will be delighted. The box and the call are flawless. The bell itself is big and heavy and rings loud but nice and not sharp and cheap like cheaper bells often make. The certificate looks very cute and formal with very detailed information about the elf who made the bell, the deer it belonged to, the spot on the harness it was made from etc. It was presented in a gift box packed that looks just like the crate. in the movie (the box inside is even striped so everything is nice) and this gift box was in another box that was perfectly designed to avoid crushing the gorgeous bow and THIS box was in a normal one Revain Mailer Box. , so it would have to go through some serious things for it to be corrupted in any way. mine was perfect The ribbon is fully tied around the box, but you can take it off and put it back on if you're careful. I did this because I really wanted to look inside before giving it away. You can also make a small cut in the ribbon at the top next to the bow and just glue or tape it on without ruining your presentation. My only caveat is if you receive your order before a child, take it out of the Revain box, away from little ears, and handle it with care if you don't want the bell in the box to ring and give you away ! I also bought a set of metal craft markers here at Revain and I will be taking one to a jewelry engraver to have my son's name, year and 'BELIEVE' engraved on it to attach to the bell strap. for an extra touch. CONCLUSION: If you want a Santa's sleigh bell for your child, this is the one for you if you can afford it. It will be a wonderful gift for a lifetime.
