I really wanted a unique kettle to boil water faster in the morning. The first ceramic teapot was amazing. But a month later, the heating element broke, and the manufacturer returned only a partial refund. I chose this one because of the price and the cheerful yellow color. It's functional, but when I want to heat more than one cup of tea at a time, it takes longer than my microwave. I obviously didn't read carefully enough as it required a US adapter (included). So I get an extra bonus adapter when I come back to the UK lol.
