I purchased this as part of a western steampunk costume. The material is durable and holds up to washing on the normal cycle, even though I line dried it. But it is very flattering and hides the tummy. I'm 5-2 inches tall and about 150 pounds. I bought the large one not knowing how it would fit. It's very comfortable and looks good, although I would probably fit a medium size. It doesn't look too big or anything, just for people looking for size. You can wear it as is or streamline it by tying the ribbons around the buttons. Perfect for fun tights and boots, but I'm also trying to figure out how to wear this regularly.
