I bought this camera a few months ago and am very happy with it. If you take the time to learn all the features, you will end up with great pictures. Just don't expect the automatic or easy mode to do all the work for you. I never use auto or other scene settings. I mostly use it as a 35mm for total control. As for the noise, I hardly notice it at ISO 200. I can mostly get rid of what little I have with Elements by choosing Filter/Noise/Stain Removal. I printed a few 8x10 enlargements and they came out surprisingly well with no noticeable noise at ISO 200. I've since added an Olympus Tcon-17 conversion lens, which basically stays on the camera all the time. This gives me a range of 20.4 optical equivalents of 734mm. This is a great combination. [.]. I've since switched to a Canon DSLR but will continue to use the Panasonic as a solid backup.
