So fluffy! for bed linen

I like this duvet despite its flaws. I previously had a ruffled quilt and after looking at it for the last 2 years I wanted it to look cleaner but definitely didn't want it to look completely plain. These diagonal boxes are perfect - decorative yet simple. I bought a duvet cover for it but it was too thick and didn't see through the box. In fact, I prefer the duvet alone, without a cover. Two disadvantages: 1. It retains body heat. It's not that the blanket is heavy, it really isn't, it just traps body heat. It will be fine in the winter, but it's July for me in Texas right now, so it's definitely in the cons column. I keep my AC on 70C at night but my feet still sweat underneath. Another reason I couldn't take the duvet cover was making it too heavy. I love the blanket so much I'm willing to leave it anyway and hope my body gets used to it. Also, I knew what I was signing up for when buying a fluffy duvet πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ2. It barely covers the top of my king mattress. I have a mattress topper that is probably 2 inches thick so I'm sure it affects the coverage, but even without it it's a bit small for a king size comforter. Oh, also I really wish it was dark grey. This gray is so light it's almost white. Besides, I love, love, love him. He's super fluffy! It's a bit "noisy" but that's a characteristic of a duvet. I think this one is quieter than some others I've seen. The fabric is not very soft, but much softer than what I bought (and returned) before. By the way, it took about a week for it to show its full potential. Overall I'm happy with it. The fluffiness convinced me! πŸ₯‡

Pros
  • βœ” Made to last. You'll quickly appreciate how the quilting throughout keeps the fluffy down feather even. Corner loops and ties/loops make it easy to attach the cover and secure the duvet in place. Double needle stitching with fabric piping can effectively prevent lint leakage and keep it working hard for years to come.
Cons
  • Too long to wait
