Quiet Computer Components

I installed it on my desk today to ventilate the cabinet my gaming pc is in. when it is idle. If the case were opened, the computer would completely silence the AIRPLATE. For reference, my computer uses all Noctua fans, which are known to be some of the quietest case fans on the market. I read a review that said something like these fans could be heard in every room of a 1500 square foot house. All I have to say is that the customer either received a defective device or they are grossly exaggerating. As I type this, my ear is less than 2 feet in elevation from the AIRPLATE, and it's barely noticeable when I hear it. Any ambient noise in the room drowns it out. Installation was easy thanks to the template provided, which was made of plastic rather than a folded piece of paper like many other templates. The template is so accurate that I wouldn't be surprised to know it was die cut on the same machine as the faceplate. It comes with a self-adhesive cable management bracket and cable tie. I already had another cable manager so I didn't use it. I hope the design team sees this part. My only downsides relate to the length of the cables. It would be nice if there were more zip ties but it doesn't matter as most people who buy this have their own cable management system and won't be using them. Second, I would suggest 2 points of improvement on the control switch. I would suggest an adhesive mount for the switch, and I would suggest that the switch input and output are on the same side. It's really "inline" at the moment, with the input going in on one end and the output coming out the other end, making nice wiring difficult. Maybe even have an entry and exit in the back with cable channels coming out on all sides to allow the user to choose which way the cables run (even right through a hole drilled behind to completely hide the cables). Remember that bugs are very minor issues and are merely a suggestion to the developer to make the Switch more user-friendly. Overall, this is a great option for cabinet cooling. So far I'm very happy with it!
