Much cheaper than buying a new key fob
I had to completely destroy the old cover to be able to install the circuit board in the new cover. There is a small screw on the replacement cover under the Chevy butterfly emblem for easy opening. However, my original key fob didn't have this feature which meant I had to pry/cut it open. It took about 20 minutes but was worth saving the $100 I spent having the dealer replace my last one.
