I used them on a mobile base of a homemade table saw. I wanted something better than the mobile bases you can buy. I wanted a base that lifts the entire saw, not just the front, and also didn't want one that uses a foot lever to push down on tiny legs to block the saw's movement, it looked like it was rocking. The caster kit says it will hold up to 800 pounds and my saw weighs over 700 pounds and the casters lift it up with no problem. Don't plan on using the bolts that come with the kit, reel jacks won't be able to lift anything close to 800 pounds using the tiny bolts that come with the kit. The arms and foot pedal are decent steel, they are definitely thicker than I expected, about 1/8 inch. I will get more for other devices in the store.
