Review on Topeak Wedge Pack Fixer Medium by Paul Walton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great backpack but not light

As I'm primarily a road bike for long trips or mountain biking in the wilderness and I like to take anything and everything with me in case I need to break or the chain breaks In the middle of nowhere is the Topeak Wedge with Fixer a great backpack. The included tool set contains a selection of useful tools that are neatly zipped away at the top of the backpack, while the bottom offers enough space for spare hose, mobile phone, bandages and snacks. In addition to the tool kit, a rain cover is included for riding in wet or muddy conditions. I especially like the quick lock removal feature of this pack. With the push of a button, the backpack slides off the seat post and into your hands quickly and easily. However, this only works if you first loosen the Velcro that secures the backpack to the seat post, otherwise you pull on it and wonder why the backpack doesn't come off. It's not a lightweight backpack, so if you're counting grams this isn't the backpack for you, but if weight is secondary to carrying a lot of stuff, this backpack will serve you well. I would highly recommend this pack for all of the above reasons.
