Wow!. Just wow! solar and wind powered

Okay, I'm impressed. This is a really good portfolio panel to use with my RV. It folds up and has a pocket on the back for the MC4 cable. There are stands with 3 levels of adjustment to make the panel look better in the sun. It doesn't include a solar controller so I hooked it up to a decent 20 amp solar controller. The connection is made using the supplied cable with MC4 connectors. I tested it on a clear, sunny autumn day by turning it directly into the sun (using the handy stands) and measuring 23.6v open circuit. However, I really didn't expect to get a full 26v open circuit like they claim. I could be off a few degrees, or there could be fog, my shadow, etc. etc. Where I've been happy, where I think it matters. When connected to my controller and battery I measured 21.7V while it was supplying 10+A to charge the battery. Very little deflection. I expect this will recharge my party quickly. I could still get 15V with the load. Enough to charge things up a bit. One feature I like is the durable plastic handle that allows me to insert the lock. I suspect they will have to break the panel or cut the lock. This should stop most casual thieves, like many campsites. I look forward to using it this summer. I can take a generator with me, but I suspect I won't need it.
