This is an unexpected little treasure. I just put it on in the morning when I'm sitting down to work and my neck is still a bit stiff from last night, or when I'm done with work at the end of the day after spending too much time on the computer or painting, and let it work again. Magic. It's super light. One charge is enough for several days, even with twice a day use for 20 minutes of a heated shot. It seems to fall into that middle ground where it can bring me some relief and get me out of trouble before it gets really serious. And there is no physical kneading like shiatsu, so no bruising and I don't have to lie down or bend down to use it. I just put it on and let it sink in. I have a ten unit that I use. I have small shiatsu massagers. And I have a vibration mat with heating. It offers maximum relief with minimal hassle, weight, labor, etc. It works like dozens for your neck with the bonus of some heating options. Dozens of different types of wave patterns feel different and affect your muscles and nerves in different ways—some stimulate one thing or another, and some go deeper than others. You help different people. It's easier, quicker, and better contact to release tension from my neck than pulling out my block of tens, pads, and leads...plus, it's always difficult to reach back and tape the pads behind you. With this massage collar, simply put it on and you're done. Plus, there's no sticky pad to use or replace, and the device snaps easily into place. Notes: A button cell battery is already installed in the remote control and a spare battery is included. It switches on automatically at heating level 2 of 3. I like 1, 2 is too hot for me. They warn you not to raise your level too high - this is important. I often use dozens and have a pretty high tolerance level. I use 3 (sometimes 2) out of 16 on this one (it appears on 0). You have 2 sequences that use built in wave patterns - 1 and 2. #3-6 are separate types of wave patterns.
