I have this fan hub splitter to connect multiple fans in one place and use only one fan header on my motherboard, it works like this: find a place where you you can place it you can use included double sided tape or use a screw in the middle, then the included 4-pin fan connector cable goes into the CPU fan connector on the motherboard, the CPU cable from the CPU cooler goes into the red dot on the hub and you need to connect a device with a SATA power connector, if you use 4-pin fans, they are controlled by the motherboard, only one shows up as a CPU fan, if you use 3-pin fans they run at full speed ie I've tried both so I can tell how it worked for me. After that I only used 4-pin fans.
