One day I noticed that our 4 month old baby's head is very flat. I've read that if you don't fix it within 8-12 months (this has been confirmed by the doctor), it's almost impossible to fix. I've read some wonderful reviews of this pillow and some that said it didn't fit. I figured $100 was a small price to pay for a normal looking head when it actually worked. We took a chance and bought a pillow as it cannot be returned. We received the pillow a week before meeting the helmet specialist. His head is completely fixed. The doctor said that children's heads are very soft and pliable and change shape after 7 days of pressure. We were amazed. If I got lazy, I could tell his head would go silent again. We have been using the pillow for 4-7 months. We ordered size XL. Now he sits and crawls and hardly ever rests on his head, so we don't use him that much. I am saving for future children as a precaution. I have recommended this to many people.
