This one is sturdy: I liked the fit the day it arrived (I tried it on with slim feet), it didn't wear long. My ankles swelled overnight so I decided to wear supportive socks. The shoes were too tight at the ankle! Couldn't resist taking it off. My ankles were swollen for 2 days. I thought I would have to send them back. They are wide enough for my legs, sometimes not up to my ankles. Since my ankles are swollen I decided to read the reviews. Some have suggested that the ankle area stretches after repeated wear. I decided to keep them and only wear them at home for a few weeks (I can take them off if uncomfortable). If they don't stretch as much as I'd like, I have shoe repair shops make a small cut at the front/top (in the fabric) and just pin the seam. I could always add a bow and button or tie. It's hard when your legs aren't "average"!
