Well washed. The child agreed.
Nice mid-weight shirt. Arrived well packaged so I hardly had to iron it for family photos! (Plus in my book) This is not a heavy flannel but more of a shirting material. Comfortable enough that my son has no complaints. The shirt was also washed very well after chocolate ice cream was spilled on it.
