Review on πŸ”‘ FEITIAN MultiPass K16 Security Key: FIDO U2F Two Factor Authenticator with Multiple Interfaces - USB-A, NFC, Bluetooth by Justin Early

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Incredibly complex and complicated setup; Bluetooth is terrible; NFC not working

Overall: 2/10. I wouldn't recommend this to any friend; However, I would advise others to find a similar product with more detailed device instructions that are not misleading. Pros: - Small - Looks cool Cons: - The packaging is shameful. Such a device must contain instructions or notices; Zero came with it. Basically a thin package with a USB (cheap quality feel) and a key-zero instruction. I had to go to the Revain site multiple times to make sure it was compatible. This only works on my Macbook when connected and on my iOS device only via Bluetooth. Without guidance, this took quite a bit of trial and error. It didn't work on my Android device. (Slightly outdated Android device, so I won't base this review on that.) - The device looks very flimsy. I'm afraid to clip this to my keychain or use it as my main everyday wear; In all honesty, it feels cheap and as if a bit of everyday stress from carrying around on a keychain or ID could ruin it - no indication of how often it needs to be charged. What happens if the user goes abroad? Some basic battery life estimates would be helpful. Disappointing. NFC has not been proven to work on my updated/new iOS device. The Revain manual suggests scanning the QR code on the box, but there is no registerable QR code on the box. I would not recommend this to any friend. I'll consider other options as long as I keep using these for a few days.
