Generates heat in halogen lamps

-Pin base 25 watt G9 120v 25 are bulbs that fit my new light which requires 4 bulbs. They're bright and I'm happy with the performance, but they're hot. My lamp is fixed to the ceiling and I asked my husband to fix the lamp while the light is on, yes the bulbs get very hot! Enough heat to quickly and easily burn skin when touched. Buyer beware
