Our measurements for reference are:5'3", 140 lbs., waist 33, hips 39. We ordered a size Large which is our normal size for bottoms. They fit us well so we're glad we didn't size up.First off, the color is a little 'bluer' (in our opinion) than the product photos would show, but it worked out PERFECTLY because that shade of Aqua is an exact match for our tankini top (different brand) and a rash guard from yet another brand. So we figure it is what most fabric mills are calling Aqua this year and it worked out just great. The style is great for being active in the water. For us, it helps prevent sunburn when we're snorkeling. We also like the black lines, it adds to the sporty nature of these bottoms. A+
