Looks very nice and I'm glad I have it but it's far from perfect. The first opening took over 30 minutes because it wouldn't open without feeling like it was going to break. Indeed, once opened it is quite pretty and works quite well, although it does not close as neatly as it did on arrival. It doesn't matter as the bag it comes with holds it well and I don't expect it to be any different from most umbrellas. Well that's great, but opening it the first time was nerve wracking as the thin ribs were so hard to pry out of the position they came in (which is what it took to open).
