Don't over tighten the valve cover and stem
Installed on my 96 Ram 12V. They fixed the leaky seals, but the Cummins torque spec says 16 ft lbs on the caps, which is what I did. But it was too tight for those pads and they cut and licked. So I ordered another set and tightened it to 12 ft-lbs. I go 2 months and it still does not flow.
