UPDATE: Seller has offered a replacement basket. Received the basket, it took longer than the first time as it wasn't prime although the replacement basket was the same - still not strong, no support on the sides and hence it's collapsing as it is was folded, to be long. PLUS it was worse than the original I bought because of the horrible smell it gave off. It smelled like chemicals and it was such a strong odor that my little one had trouble staying in the room the basket was in. I have contacted the seller with an update but there is no reply. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY! The solution you get will not be perfect, it will be tedious. You will waste your money AND your time if the seller offers you a solution that will end up being worse. I'm definitely throwing out the replacement because the stench is awful. The basket is NOT usable and I would not give my child anything with a chemical smell. Let's start with the positive things, I love the design of the basket, the comfy drawstring handles and the drawstring option where you can put your items instead of closing it, it's such a great feature! For the price, however, this basket is not worth the money. to stand upright. The basket isn't strong enough either, there is a wire for support at the top but no support on the sides, and with the way it's packaged, a disaster! I don't know what happened, but the quality of the products has gone down a lot, especially compared to the prices. Definitely not worth buying again. I end up using it as a laundry basket but could definitely get a cheaper one because it just isn't strong enough to hold books or heavy toddler toys.
