Love how they blend in with the white painted wood paneling of my house. I screwed them in for my Christmas lights. One box of these (30 pieces) was enough to hang 2 string lights from one side of the house, through the 2 car garage, on the other side of the house and down another length equal to a 3 car garage. I have also used these hooks for my patio globe string lights (yes I bought a second box of 30). Being vinyl covered, these hooks should not rust. However, in a few years time will tell whether the vinyl can withstand the daily exposure to the sun. TIP: Use a drill to drill a small hole in the wood, then screw in by hand.
