Revane asked me to check this out, although I doubt anyone will read it as this article is for products that have been extinct since the Jurassic period - Slides and photo negatives. . This was for my 12 year old scanner. I have a new scanner (aka fax, printer, copier) and they don't even make an adapter for slides and negatives so I was happy to find a replacement for my broken scanner transparency adapter. Turns out it wasn't broken, I just misused it, albeit not in the way it's documented, so I have two of these now. For fifteen bucks I wouldn't waste time or postage sending it back and the 3rd party did such a good job that I would feel bad about using the 30 day return policy as it was my fault. Definitely this is the way to go if you have old slides or negatives and want to digitize them.
