Ideal for replacing a missing original part

When the builder built our house he forgot to put door closers on the sliding patio doors. When we informed him he told us he couldn't find her. Of course, it was the end for him without an offer to help find a replacement. So I bought these and they are perfect for our patio doors. It took some fine tuning to get them to work, which was easier by putting the screws in the larger slots first so I could loosen the screws and move the holder position up or down as needed. Once I had the perfect position, I tightened it and then put my longer screws in each of the other holes to really secure it. After blocking, I gave them a good pull with my full weight (260 pounds) and they didn't budge. Definitely recommended if they match your patio doors.
