Review on ADATA HD710 1TB USB 3 by Michael Tarlue

Looks like a good product upon receipt but the product I bought in April 2017 was a lemon. By November 2017, the product had died. However, although I purchased the advanced data recovery plan offered by Revain, I HAVE NOT READ THE FINE SEAL. I sent the failed device to a data recovery service and they were unable to recover my data, but the manufacturer's warranty is void. As ? Well I should have called the manufacturer first to tell them the device died and they would recommend their own data recovery service AT THE EXTRA COST TO ME. If their data recovery service couldn't recover the data, they replaced their product.DUH. However, I sent the device to the data recovery service I bought the plan from and since they weren't authorized by the manufacturer, it voids the warranty. Long story short, if you have an external hard drive that fails, DUH call the manufacturer first. . Don't AUTOMATICALLY go to the data recovery plan that AUTOMATICALLY appears at the time of purchase!.
