I received this table a few months ago to replace a 15 year old Avalon. My first observation was that it's significantly larger than the Avalon, which is understandable given the thicker foam layer, but this makes it much more cumbersome to carry and doors are particularly difficult to manoeuvre, especially with added weight. extra foam. Not necessarily a deal breaker but something to consider if you have back problems or similar. The two things I absolutely hate about the packaging are the carrying case and the face stand. First, what did you have in mind when designing a bag that doesn't open to the bottom? The zipper stops about 6 inches off the bottom, so the table has to be raised and lowered into the case (oh, and it's a tight fit, so you have to line it up almost perfectly to close it). This makes it a bit harder to take out, but MUCH harder to put in - the easiest way I've found is to put one corner of the table in the pocket first, and then lift/support the other corner with one hand while holding the adjust position. Placing the suitcase with another (not a fun task considering I recently had wrist surgery, but the table doesn't fold on its own) - I suppose you can turn the table upside down and pull the suitcase over it, but it just doesn't make sense considering this is a portable table and you should be able to easily load and unload it while your customers wait for you. The other is the face stand. More precisely, not the cradle itself, but the Velcro that attaches the pillow to the frame. What a ridiculous design, two narrow velcro strips on the frame where the adhesive holding it to the frame isn't strong enough to support the weight of the pillow. I don't know how many times during one session the pillow fell on the floor because the velcro came loose. I ended up having to source some industrial grade velcro and glue to attach it - of course the velcro sewn to the pillow didn't match the new velcro on the frame and didn't stick. I glued the new Velcro on top of the existing squares, but in hindsight it might have been better to remove them first. Also, all my customers love the new table and are glad I chose it. I'm sure it will last and I'm sure I can find a better tote bag.
