Box beaten. Lasts up to 12 hours and is fade resistant, infrequent hand washing would be much closer to the truth. You should also be aware that an absorbent pad is thin, taking up 1/2 to 2/3 the width of the pad. The bandage itself is thin and elastic and adheres well to the skin. The adhesive comes off when wet, like most plasters. You also need to be careful not to let the bandage stick to itself as it is so flexible.
