I was upgrading from a Numark TT-100 desk and wanted a desk with an S-shaped arm for easy cartridge and cartridge swapping. I was torn between it and the Teac TN-400, but Music Hall had much better wah and flutter and signal to noise ratios. The photos don't do it justice, it's a beautiful table. I can't comment on the onboard phono stage or the Music Hall Melody pickups (with Grado Black) but I was very pleased with the clarity of the sound compared to the TT-100 (especially at higher volumes). The table measured 33.2 RPM by default and there's an adjustable speed dial on the back to confirm that. In my opinion an excellent player for the money.
