does what I wanted

I bought this specifically to install a 2 ring doorbell as I have a brick facade and no one helped me drill holes in the brick so I had to get another one Possibility to come up with to install it near the entrance door. By the way, I specifically wanted the one shown in the graphic (the one with the brick wall and it says External Weather Protection/Heavy Duty Mounting Tape), but what they sent me says Permanent Outdoor Mounting Tape with the picture Tree. Maybe it's the same and they just changed the title but if so they should have updated their pics as it's a bit misleading hence the one star reduction. That being said, even though I've only had the doorbell for a few days, it was very easy to use and didn't look like it was dangling, loose or anything like that. Personally I had no problem peeling off the red protective film but I understand that this can be an issue if you don't have nails or patience but once you get a little corner it peels off easily. As my brick isn't 100% flush I had to fold the band for the doorbell in half and that wasn't a problem - it holds up very well on its own and I was never afraid it would come loose. Also, I used both of the wedges that come with the doorbell and although the wedges are usually screwed to the brick wall with two nails, I simply taped them together with black tape and then used this mounting tape to secure everything to the wall. I had my doubts about the doorbell itself (motion settings are a joke) but not with this band, it did exactly what it was advertised and couldn't have been easier to use.
