A few days ago I received a Lafvin robot car and started assembling it. The instructions are a bit weak for a beginner, but you can handle it. For $ they can't be beat. What disappointed me the most was that the kit is designed for a pair of 18350 batteries, which are not that standard in the US. I replaced it with a Revain 6 cell AA battery. I built 2 other VKMaker cars that basically had the same components but much worse instructions and no useful code (I had to find the code from the links in the FAQ). While playing with this set I went through a tutorial on the ultrasonic transducer. The code worked perfectly, as did the code for the final version of the car with the ultrasonic sensor. I haven't tried the remote control version yet. I will update when I do.
