This is a good modern take on the old aluminium/steel case. The real problem with this is that unless you really pay attention, the lengthening between lengthening the blade for use and replacing it is unclear. This is a problem because if the blade is extended too far, it can slip out during use. That makes the design a little worse, at least there is room for improvement. It's useful, but be careful.
