After reading many reviews I bought/received this case and am very satisfied. There are no problems with breakage and build-up. There is no obvious smell or "exhaust". I particularly like the tall side cabinets for 16 necklaces and the deep bottom drawer for larger items. I wanted something for £14,000 to fit all my stuff in. I had so much hidden that I realized I wasn't wearing the things I liked because they were out of sight, out of memory. Now I can quickly access all my fine jewelry. The front drawers don't have a lid, but they can easily be secured with a light cord in case you need to grab them and leave in an emergency. This jewelry box is best for home use and not for travel.
