Review on Black Weston Number 8 Electric Meat Grinder and Sausage Stuffer, 575W by Amy Cummings

This Weston grinder is just perfect for my home kitchen. First I took all the pieces apart and washed them thoroughly in warm soapy water before shredding the meat. I can easily buy ground beef or ground pork at the store, so I went with chicken thighs. First I cut the slightly frozen thighs into 1 inch strips and load them into the machine. Surprisingly, he fed him without much effort. During operation, the machine did not make much noise. In fact, he chopped it up before I could add more chicken. It shredded 9 pieces of chicken thighs in just a few minutes. I added some teriyaki sauce to the ground beef and put it in the fridge. Cleaning consisted of taking the parts apart and placing them back in warm, soapy water. Most of the parts were metal and seemed very solid. I should note that the engine didn't struggle as much. Next time I will try pork and beef as they are denser. Next time I'll shred more meat so I don't have to constantly wash the parts.
