Review on Portable 7-Inch Widescreen DVD Player: Sylvania SDVD7014-MPINK by John Hall

I bought three of these 11 months ago for my kids to see on their trip from Oklahoma to Canada and below is my rating: Shop. Picture and sound quality: Outstanding picture and sound quality. The audio was pretty loud even without headphones. Convenience: My children, ages 3-7, were able to operate the player with minimal assistance from me. It was great because they could change, pause, play, fast forward and rewind DVDs without my help. Charging: DVD comes with car charger and wall charger. It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge a fully discharged battery. Carrying Case and Headrest Mount: The DVD comes with carrying case and headrest mount. but they are of very cheap quality and very thin. I bought a different headrest mount. Overall Quality: I first bought these 11 months ago and since then one of them won't close because the latch holding the DVD in the player broke. The second just stopped playing; the player has not read the dvd and keeps saying "no disc" even though there is a disc in it. My girlfriend has the same DVD player and she had the same problem too, so I guess the quality of the player isn't that good. to last long especially if you have kids using them.
