I wanted an activated carbon block filter. I have access to tap water, bottled water, reverse osmosis systems and charcoal blocks and for my household needs a charcoal block is the best solution. All carbon block cartridges perform the same and offer some improvements. , but only this 70001 is designed to remove more than just odor/taste and particles.
