Had to change the heater valve a second time on a '99 Yukon. The first replacement valve was from NAPA and I bought it believing the NAPA hype for quality parts. NOT. Her signature block failed in just over a year. The solution was for me to bring it in so they could send it to "someone" for evaluation and then MAYBE replace the faulty part. Are there mechanics there? This process didn't start because I was helping a neighbor with her car. So I bought an OEM GM/AC-Delco heater valve. Arrived quickly with no leaks and I hope it has the same lifespan as the original (around 16 years). Nothing lasts forever, but this isn't the skimp on quality part just to save a few bucks. NAPA, are you listening? No, I didn't think so. I highly recommend this OE quality part.
