My daughter loves it - that was the point. She screams "My rabbit, I love my rabbit" every time she sees him. She fell asleep on it once but mostly we got it to keep her entertained on long bike rides. I also think it would be nice in case of an accident, but hopefully we never have to find out. The bunny is bigger than I thought, and that's okay. The Velcro doesn't close all the way at the bottom, but that doesn't seem to affect the way it works or looks at all. By the way, he also introduced us to Miffy.
