Getting this filter up and running was a cinch with one small caveat. I just picked a spot and mounted the bracket and put fittings in the sides and the gauge in the front. Turns on the compressor and. nothing. I tried adjusting the valve but couldn't get it to budge. I'm still not entirely certain what the problem was but I think it came from the factory completely closed and I couldn't get enough grip on the handle to open it. After some fiddling with flathead screwdrivers to get it off I clamped onto the valve head with vice grips and it didn't take much to open it. Snapped the cover on and all good. The gauge doesn't look like the highest quality one int he world but it seems to match up with the one on my compressor so I can't complain. It's regulating away now so all good.
