Review on 🔧 Freud FB 007: 1 Inch 8 Inch Forstner - Premium Precision and Versatility by Charles Russell

I cannot praise Freud enough. I have found that their products are usually well designed and carefully crafted. This Forstnerschlag is no exception! Note the holes on either side of the cutting head. They fulfill two functions. First, the hole allows you to see clearly where you want to drill. Secondly, it very effectively cleans the hole of dirt, which contributes to excellent dust collection. The drill is very sharp and precise. The results are professional. If you are a perfectionist you will not be disappointed. I bought a set of these in sizes from 1/2" to 1-3/4" and am very happy with the results.
