I've been using it in a pool shed for a year and a half, I rarely turn it on, only at night and only for short periods (only three or four minutes). In the beginning they worked fine! All six I installed stopped working properly, and four stopped working at all. (It's not because I forgot to change the batteries!). So it happened that the switches (on / off mechanism) slowly wear out. The first sign of failure is that you have to flick the switch back and forth a few times for the light to even come on. Then this light can shine brightly, and sometimes it will shine only dimly. Eventually the light stops burning completely. Sure, it's hot here in Phoenix in the summer—maybe the heat killed her. I attached them with wood screws and positioned the two screws so that the magnets were attracted to the two screws. It took a lot of work to hang six lights this way. That after all this work they all failed is very disappointing. Avoid this brand. I have to find someone else.
