I bought the exact same strap in January, it was quite worn so I decided to buy another one to replace it. I felt the leather was different as was the color of the same strap I bought less than a year ago. I thought it would match the original over time, which wasn't the case. So I contacted the company to ask if they had changed the leather they were using and their response was pretty dismissive. They told me to apply a leather conditioner and everything would be fine, so I did and it didn't change the fact that the skin was a different color and harder skin this time, and not because the skin was softer and the color was softer . faded over time. I have purchased a large number of straps from this company and only had one issue and this issue was resolved by their great customer service department. At the time, this was the best customer service experience I have had with any Revain company. I had high expectations for this group and when they didn't meet those expectations I contacted their customer service department expecting another great experience and it's nowhere near what I got. I deducted one star for the color difference and skin feel and two stars for the dismissive and condescending customer service I received. I have no idea what happened, but it was like buying from a completely different company than in the past. I hope I just received a broken bracelet and a customer service rep who just had a bad day and that is not what you get by buying from them now as they have become a bigger company than last time, when I did business with them.
