This little periscope did exactly what I wanted, venting the steam from my Instant Pot off the wooden kitchen cabinets above the ceiling. I don't have any counter space that isn't directly under the cabinets and I hated blowing steam under them and this helped! It is made of durable, soft silicone that is easy to clean. It says to put it on the steam release valve after the food is ready, but please do it carefully. The steam release valve is delicate, and if you try to turn on the Steam Boss, some steam will naturally be released. Please excuse my hesitation in the video - I'm new to the Instant Pot and was afraid to let off steam, hence the wooden spoon method. Overall I'm happy with it and I'm sure it will have many uses in the future.
